Producing a total of 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, this comes with the 8-speed automatic and the capable 4WD drivetrain, making it an excellent off-road and on-road vehicle. The luxurious and spacious cabin of the fifth generation comes unchanged, and the all-electric range of 22 miles and 49 MPGe combined rating adds to the resume of this SUV. The plug-in hybrid powertrain that comes with the Grand Cherokee 4xe is an excellent choice as it has both performance and efficiency. The 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine with an electric motor under the hood manages to give an output of 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is only available with the 4WD drivetrain and an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. If you go higher up the ladder, you can also get a 10" head-up display, a digital gauge display, and a 10.3" front passenger display. They also come with a superior 9-speaker Alpine audio system or a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system.

The interior of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe gets premium materials and that makes it a notch above some of the segment rivals. The dashboard comes with leather inserts with contrast stitching and open-pore wood, both of which makes the cabin very opulent.

The leather is also onboard the steering wheel and seats. The impressive waterfall design of the center console and the multiple screens on offer gives it a technologically superior feel. The panoramic sunroof is available and the inclusion of ambient lighting makes it a great place to be in.

One thing that the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe manages to come out superior to all the rivals is in terms of fuel efficiency. There are many off-road specific mechanical and technological upgrades on offer with the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and that helps it to come out of any hardcore off-road sections with no issues. The Quadra-Trac II 4x4 system is one of these, and it comes with a two-speed low transfer case too.
